Sunshine Shuffle

The Sunshine Shuffle is scheduled for May 30, 2026 at the Gunnar Nilsson and Mickey Lammers Research Forest near Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. The event is organized as a backyard ultra, in which participants run the same loop repeatedly for the duration of the race.

Each lap is 6.7 km. The loop is primarily single track with a short section of gravel road. Each lap has approximately 100 m (320 ft) of elevation gain and includes stretches that overlook the Takhini River and provide views of the Coast Mountains.

The event takes place during a period with about 19 hours of daylight, which results in extended daylight conditions on course. The listed registration fee is CA$88.25 and the published registration window runs from April 1 to May 27, 2026.
