Sun City Ultra Triathlon 2027
The Sun City Ultra Triathlon takes place at Sun City Resort in Magong, North West on Saturday, 1 May 2027. The event is organised by DELTA SPORT and offers individual and relay entries across multiple distance options. Swim legs take place in the resort dam with cycling and running routes that pass near the Gary Player Golf Course. Athletes can access discounted accommodation at Sun City Resort for the race weekend.
Entry periods and fee tiers are published for Early Bird, Standard and Late entries. Early Bird entries include a race goodie bag and technical race apparel; Standard entries include a goodie bag and race apparel; Late entries do not include a goodie bag or race apparel. A Triathlon South Africa temporary day licence fee applies per event category.
Team entries are supported for some classes, with teams of two or three participants permitted in relay categories. Minimum age limits apply per class.
Distances available include:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km cycle, 5 km run.
- Standard: 1.5 km swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run.
- Ultra / Aquabike: 2 km swim, 80 km cycle, 18 km run (Aquabike excludes run).
