Summer Summits : Everyday Ultra Free Community Run
This is a free community run at the Piestewa Peak trailhead in Phoenix, Arizona, organized by Everyday Ultra. The event uses a six hour window for repeated climbs of the same summit. Participants complete as many summit laps as they choose while the clock runs.
One lap is an out-and-back route to the summit. Event materials list the lap distance as about 2.18 miles with elevation change reported around 1,000 to 1,200 feet per lap. The format emphasizes repeated climbs and self-set goals, so participants may run a single lap or continue for the full window.
Support on course includes trailhead refreshments and fuel available each time runners pass the aid area. Coaching staff from the organizing team will run with participants and be present on the route. The event also includes giveaways and prizes such as a coaching spot and a race entry.
Registration is free and handled through UltraSignup. Recommended items for participants include a headlamp for the dark start, hydration (handheld or vest), trail shoes, sun protection, and extra fuel. The description focuses on the repeated climb format, route profile, on-course support, and the community presence of coaches and organizers.
