Each registrant receives a race day shirt, a finisher's pint glass, chip timing, free photo downloads, and free GPS tracking for friends and family. Participants in the half marathon receive a finisher's medal. A gender specific performance shirt is offered and available sizes are listed during registration; some sizes may sell out before the event and an expo shirt exchange will be available.
The event names Backpack Society as its charity partner and operates an in-kind donation gathering on race day. Bringing five or more food items enters donors into a race day raffle. Preferred donation items include cereal, granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, family sized crackers, canned tuna or chicken, pasta sauce and pasta. The event also partners with Sneakers4Good to collect gently used or new athletic shoes, with proceeds supporting the charity Growing Home.
