Summer Series 2027 : Warrnambool Running Club
The Warrnambool Running Club runs a short summer series at Jetty Flat Reserve in January 2027. The series returns the 5 km option to Jetty Flat and again includes a 2.5 km option on the schedule. It is organised to raise funds for a local charity and to encourage community activity after the holiday period.
The course is a loop that starts and finishes at Jetty Flat Reserve. The loop measures 2.5 km, so 5 km participants complete two laps.
Distances
- 5 km: two laps of the 2.5 km loop.
- 2.5 km: single lap of the loop.
Registrations are taken on the day only. Payment methods accepted include cash and EFTPOS. Entry fees are:
- Single entrant $5
- Family (two adults and up to four children) $10
Spot prizes are available with support from sponsors. Fifty percent of all proceeds are donated to a charity chosen by the Warrnambool Running Club at the end of the series; the specific charity will be announced by the club.
