Summer Rec Jamboree 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run & Kids Race
The Summer Rec Jamboree takes place May 16, 2026 at 502 Kendall St, Martinsville, IL 62442. The event is presented by Martinsville on the Move in partnership with the Martinsville Summer Recreation Board and is part of a community celebration marking the start of summer recreation.
Distances include:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- 600 m Kids Race
The 5K follows a mostly paved course with approximately 25% on the Woodlands and Martinsville Ridgelawn Biking and Hiking Trail. The 1-Mile Fun Run uses paved local roads. The Kids Race is a lap around the outside of the baseball field. Jamboree activities on site include a pickleball tournament, team photos, a parade, bounce houses, and food trucks.
Registration opens April 11, 2026 and closes May 14, 2026. Posted registration fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1-Mile Fun Run and Kids Race. All proceeds go back into the Martinsville Summer Recreation Program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
