Stronger Together DV Awareness 5K - Clayton
The Stronger Together event in Clayton, North Carolina, is a community run/walk held on October 17, 2026 at 325 McCullers St. The event aims to raise awareness of domestic violence and to fund services for survivors provided by Harbor, Inc. of Johnston County, including emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education.
Two distances are offered:
- 5K race with race bib and timing chip
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk with a race bib and participation award
Registration opens August 8. Early-bird pricing is available through September 17; fees increase after that. Fee structure includes team pricing for the 5K and separate pricing for the 1-mile event. Participants registered by October 1 are guaranteed an official Stronger Together 5K race T-shirt. Registered participants receive a finisher participation award, a race bib with timing chip, and post-race refreshments.
Awards will be presented to competitive finishers, including top overall male and female finishers and age-group awards for several age brackets. Early packet pick up is scheduled for October 16 at Pizazz, 132 E Main St., Clayton, and packet pick up is also available on race day.
