2026 UniversalCare Strides for Seniors
The 7th annual UniversalCare Strides for Seniors is scheduled for October 3, 2026 at North Maple Regional Park in Maple, Vaughan, Ontario. The event offers running and walking routes and a programme of community activities.

The event is described as family-friendly and includes food vendors and live entertainment. It combines outdoor routes with community fundraising and awareness activities.
Fundraising proceeds will support the maintenance of CIBPA PLACE, York Region’s first Non-Profit Residential Respite Dementia Care Centre, operated by CHATS Community & Home Assistance to Seniors. Last year the event drew over 700 participants and raised $2,017,000 NET; across five years Strides for Seniors has raised $5.6 million NET.
Logistics note: race kit pick-up is available in advance at Richview Manor on October 1 and at North Maple Regional Park on event day, October 3. Free parking is available at the park but is limited due to construction; an overflow lot is located at the most southern entrance of Vaughan Cares Road.
