The Medtronic Streets of Galway 8k - 2026
The Medtronic Streets of Galway 8K on 8 August 2026 is the 40th edition of an 8 kilometre road race organised by Galway City Harriers. A permit has been approved for the event, cert. no: 26/123.
The course routes through Galway City, Salthill and the Claddagh and is described as a flat and fast road circuit. The event uses city streets and suburban roads, with race headquarters at the Claddagh Hall at Nimmos Pier. The race start location is Fr Griffin Road and the finish is at South Park.
Entry details provided by the organiser note an early bird fee of €25 plus applicable levies for the first 400 entries, followed by a standard fee of €30.
