Stratford's Half Marathon and Big 10K : 13 September 2026
Stratford's Big 10K and Half Marathon are road races based at Stratford Recreation Ground, next to the tennis courts and the Parkrun start. Both races use a route that runs along Shipston Road (A3400) and features a finish that passes the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre and Bancroft Garden. The course includes riverside sections by Lucy’s Mill Bridge, a run past Holy Trinity Church, canal and tramway bridges, and a lengthy Greenway section that is described as flat.

Entries are open with pre-entry and limited day entries if the race limit has not been reached. Numbers and timing chips are posted to entrants. Entry fees are listed separately for affiliated and unaffiliated runners for each distance. A baggage drop is provided at the finish only; public and portable toilets are available near the start and car park. Water stations are at approximately 5 kilometres for the 10K, and at 4 miles, 7 miles and 10 miles for the half marathon. All finishers receive a medal. Prize awards include the first three finishers by gender and age group prizes from age 35 in ten year increments.
Lodders Solicitors is the principal sponsor for 2026. Friends of Stratford Hospital and The Time Out Group are supported charities and will supply marshals on race day.
