About the race
StraLugano is a multi-race running event held in Lugano over a weekend. The programme for 26 and 27 September 2026 includes road and trail formats and a mix of competitive and family-oriented races. The 2026 edition marks the 20th edition of the event and will host the Swiss Half Marathon Championships.
Races on the programme include:
- 5 km FunRun on Saturday
- 10 km City Run on Saturday
- 21 km Half Marathon on Sunday
- Monte Brè Run on Sunday
- Relay formats and combined classifications across the weekend
- Charity and family events including Famigros Run & Win and Run4Charity
- KidsRun on Sunday
The event offers a limited edition commemorative race shirt for the 20th anniversary, sold in advance for pickup on race day. Participants can earn Cumulus points by providing their Cumulus number at registration. Organisers recruit volunteers for roles such as aid stations and logistics; no prior experience is required.
