Both races finish next to the marina on the inner harbour. Water stations for the Half Marathon are at about 3, 6, 9 and 11 miles; the 10k has two water stations. Finishers in both races receive a medal; Half Marathon finishers also receive a T-shirt.
Entries, rules and prizes
Early-bird and standard entry fees are published with early rates valid until 31 December 2025 and higher rates from 1 January 2026. The event is a Scottish Athletics licensed race. Headphones are not permitted on roads that are not closed to traffic. Minimum ages are 15 for the 10k and 17 for the Half Marathon. Prize categories include overall, veteran age groups, local prizes and team prizes; local prizes require HS1 or HS2 postcode residency for at least 12 months.
