Event Overview
The Stonum Vineyards Wine Run 5k is a running and walking event held at Stonum Vineyards in Lodi, California. The course is designed as a cross-country style route that provides a scenic tour of the vineyard grounds. While the terrain includes some areas of uneven footing, it is accessible for both runners and walkers.
Participants receive several items as part of their registration, including a cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, and a finisher medal that also functions as a wine stopper. Every participant is also provided with a pour of wine after crossing the finish line. The event is chip-timed by J3 Timing, and results are posted online following the conclusion of the race.

Top finishers in different age categories are eligible for custom awards, provided they start with the first competitive wave. Categories are divided into 10-year increments ranging from ages 1-9 to 80 and over. Minors are permitted to participate at a discounted rate, though they do not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine and must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is dog-friendly for leashed animals, and strollers are permitted, though the uneven nature of the cross-country course may make them difficult to use.
