Stirling Half Marathon - Stirling, UK
The Stirling Half Marathon takes place in Stirling on 16 May 2027. The event is delivered through a partnership between Up and Running Events and London Marathon Events and is being developed as a major annual fixture in Scotland’s running calendar.
This is a closed-road half marathon that will welcome thousands of runners. The route will showcase Stirling and the surrounding area, with landmarks such as Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument mentioned as course backdrops. The final course map, elevation profile, water station locations and other detailed route information will be announced closer to the event.
The event base is King’s Park, Stirling. Travel notes state that Stirling railway station and the bus station are in the city centre and that King’s Park is within walking or cycling distance; road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place on Event Day. Start area facilities will be located close to King’s Park and further Event Day logistics will be shared with participants ahead of the race.
Entries include the half marathon entry, professional chip timing and official results. The race will have a fully signed and supported course, medical support at the Start, Finish and along the route, water stations, bag drop, on-course support and entertainment, a finisher’s medal, finish-line refreshments, official photography and pre-event participant information.
