Stilton Stumble - Sunday 12th October 2025
The Stilton Stumble is a 10 km road race held in the Nottinghamshire countryside. The course passes through the Stilton cheese-making villages of Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett, and both the start and the finish are located in the village of Cropwell Bishop. The 2025 edition returned on Sunday 12th October 2025 and attracted nearly 500 runners despite mist and fog on the day.
The event is UK Athletics affiliated (7692422) and maintains an archive of results for recent years, with full results for 2025 recorded on Sporthive and earlier results available for 2024 and 2023. The race began in 2013 and is presented as a recurring community event for local villages and running participants.
Proceeds from the event are donated to Cropwell Bishop Friends of the School and the 1st Cropwell Bishop Scout Group. The race is supported by volunteers, sponsors, and local partners, who assist with event delivery and logistics.
