S.T.E.P.S. Forward 5K & Walk
The S.T.E.P.S. Forward 5K & Walk takes place on October 18, 2026 in Laredo at 3900 Casa Blanca Rd, TX 78041. It is a community event that honors people affected by breast cancer, recognizes survivors, and raises awareness in Laredo and Webb County.
The event includes two distances:
- 3.1 Miles 5K run
- 1 Mile walk
Funds raised support the Stronger Together Breast Cancer Foundation and several of its programs. These include the Nourishing Warriors Program, which provides food, care packages, and survivor support; transportation vouchers and a long-term goal of a dedicated patient vehicle for rides to chemotherapy and radiation; and emergency financial relief and early detection screenings for underserved patients.
