Steps for Sidney 5K Run/Walk
Steps for Sidney is a community 5K event hosted by Apple Tree Connections at Apple Tree Connections, 5020 N Providence Ave, Appleton, WI, on August 15, 2026. Proceeds benefit N-E-W Healing Hive.
Participants assemble in the ATC playground and the course starts on Canvasback Court adjacent to the playground back entrance. The route is described as flat and weaves through the neighborhood, including a loop around a pond, with the finish back at the ATC site.
Packet pickup is available prior to the event by arrangement and on the day of the event. Food and beverages will be provided after the run. Awards include medals for top finishers and door prizes from local businesses.
Parking is available in the ATC parking lot, on Providence Avenue, and on nearby streets. The event is open to runners, walkers, adults, and families with children. Strollers and MP3 players are permitted. Pets and bicycles are not allowed.
