Steps for Sidney 5K Run/Walk: Appleton, WI (August 15, 2026)
Apple Tree Connections will host a community 5K run and walk on August 15, 2026, with proceeds benefiting N-E-W Healing Hive. The event takes place at Apple Tree Connections, 5020 N Providence Ave, Appleton, WI 54913.
Participants meet at the ATC playground and the route begins from Canvasback Court adjacent to the playground entrance. The flat course weaves through the neighborhood and circles a pond, with the finish line returning to ATC. After the event there will be food and beverages, medals for top finishers, and door prizes from local businesses.
The event is described as athlete and family friendly and open to runners, walkers, adults, and families with children. Strollers and MP3 players are permitted. Pets and bicycles are not allowed. Parking is available in the ATC parking lot, on Providence Avenue, and on nearby streets.
Packet pickup is available on the day of the event and can also be arranged in advance through the event organizer. Registration options listed include an adult entry fee of USD 30, youth (ages 5-12) USD 20, youth 4 years and younger with a shirt USD 15, and a youth 4 years and younger no shirt option at no charge.
