Steps for Change: #EndOverdose - Stayner, ON

On August 15, 2026, Brad’s Place Addiction Treatment of Southern Georgian Bay will host the 2nd Annual Steps for Change: #EndOverdose in Stayner, Ontario. The event is a community fundraising run that brings together families, friends, service providers and local businesses to honour those lost to overdose and to support people affected by substance use.

Participants follow a family-friendly run/walk route through Stayner with options for different ages and fitness levels. Distances offered include:

5 km Community Challenge
10 km Run: Endurance for Awareness

The event program includes opening remarks, a moment of remembrance, information booths, and opportunities to learn about overdose prevention, harm reduction and local resources. Funds raised will support Brad’s Place programs for youth-focused addiction treatment and family support services, with the stated goal of ensuring financial barriers do not prevent access to care.
