Steps for Change: #EndOverdose
On August 15, 2026, Brad's Place Addiction Treatment of Southern Georgian Bay will host the 2nd Annual Steps for Change: #EndOverdose in Stayner, Ontario. The event is a community fundraiser that brings together families, friends, service providers, and local businesses to honour those lost to overdose, support people who are still struggling, and raise funds for youth-focused addiction treatment and family support services in Southern Georgian Bay.
Participants will follow a family-friendly run or walk route through Stayner, with options for different ages and fitness levels. The event program includes opening remarks, a moment of remembrance, information booths, and opportunities to learn about overdose prevention, harm reduction, and local resources.
Funds raised will directly support Brad's Place programs to help ensure that no young person or family is turned away due to financial barriers.
