Steps for Change: #EndOverdose
On August 15, 2026, Brad's Place Addiction Treatment of Southern Georgian Bay will host the second annual Steps for Change: #EndOverdose in Stayner, Ontario. This fundraising run brings together families, friends, service providers, and local businesses to honour those lost to overdose, support people living with substance use, and raise funds for youth-focused addiction treatment and family support services.
The event features a family-friendly run and walk route through Stayner and on-site activities. Planned elements include opening remarks, a moment of remembrance, information booths, and opportunities to learn about overdose prevention, harm reduction, and local resources. Funds raised will directly support Brad's Place programs and help ensure financial barriers do not prevent young people or families from accessing care.
