Steps for Change: #EndOverdose : Stayner, ON
On August 15, 2026, Brad’s Place Addiction Treatment of Southern Georgian Bay will host the 2nd Annual Steps for Change: #EndOverdose in Stayner, Ontario. The event is a fundraiser to support youth-focused addiction treatment and family support services in Southern Georgian Bay.
The event brings together families, friends, service providers, and local businesses to honour people lost to overdose, support those still struggling with addiction, and raise funds so Brad’s Place programs can reduce financial barriers for young people and families.
Activities include a family-friendly run and walk route through Stayner with options for different ages and fitness levels. The program features opening remarks, a moment of remembrance, information booths, and opportunities to learn about overdose prevention, harm reduction, and local resources.

- 1 km, Remembrance Run/Walk, a gentle loop for families and children.
- 5 km, Community Challenge, a run or walk route.
- 10 km, Run "Endurance for Awareness", a longer route for participants.
