Statesman Cap10K : Austin, Texas
The 49th Annual Statesman Capitol 10,000 takes place in Austin, Texas on April 12, 2026. The event is presented as a 10K road race and includes both live and virtual participation options. Thousands of runners and walkers take part each year.
The event weekend features a Finish Line Festival with free massages, food vendors, cocktails, a kids’ zone, an autograph wall, live music, and photo opportunities. A Health and Fitness Expo runs across two days and includes footwear, apparel, nutrition, and technology exhibitors as well as packet pick-up.
Training and preparation resources are provided, including BS&W health tips about shoe selection and The Run Plan coaching service with 12-week and 6-week plans. A Virtual Course Tour and official course maps are available for participants who want to preview the route.
