Stansbury Days Triathlon and 5K Run
The event takes place at Solomon Park / Northport Park in Stansbury Park, Utah, and includes a sprint triathlon and a 5k run. The triathlon uses the swim, bike, and run courses and the transition area introduced in 2025. The triathlon is chip timed and the timing chip may be worn on either ankle.
Swim: an open-water, point-to-point swim in Stansbury Lake. Wetsuits are allowed. Life jackets, snorkels, paddles, and fins are not allowed. There are two wave starts for the swim.
Bike: a fast out-and-back route with long straight sections on Delgada Lane and Village Boulevard, then country roads toward Erda. The outbound leg gains roughly 60 meters in elevation, with a slight descent returning into Stansbury Park.
Run: a course around Stansbury Lake used by both triathlon and 5k participants. For safety, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the run course. Course arrows should be painted 7 to 10 days before the event for practice.
Registration details include resident and non-resident pricing tiers, a cap of 125 triathlon participants, and registration closing on August 12. No day-of registration is available. All participants receive a race bag, t-shirt, finisher medal, and post-race food. Packet pick-up occurs the Friday evening before the race and on the morning of the event. Awards are presented at the Porter Way Park pavilion after most participants finish; triathlon and 5k awards recognize top overall finishers and age group placings.
