Stansbury Days Triathlon and 5K Run - Race overview
The event includes a Sprint Triathlon, a Sprint Relay and a 5k run. Transition will be located at Solomon Park on Delgada Lane. The triathlon field is capped at 125 participants because transition space is limited; triathlon and 5k run registration close when the cap is reached or on the published registration deadline. There is no race day registration.
The race is chip timed and participants wear the timing chip on an ankle. The swim takes place in Stansbury Lake as an open water, point to point course introduced in 2025. Wetsuits are permitted. Swim aids such as life jackets, snorkels, paddles or fins are not allowed. The event will use two wave starts.
The bike course is an out and back route with long straight sections on Delgada Lane and Village Boulevard before continuing onto the country roads of Erda. The route gains about 60 meters on the outbound leg and descends on the return. The run course circles Stansbury Lake and is the same course for the triathlon and the 5k run. For safety, strollers and dogs are not allowed on the run course. Course arrows will be posted about seven to ten days before race day.
Packet pick up is available Friday evening and on race morning at designated locations near the Stansbury Skate Park and Solomon Park. Timing chips are distributed on race morning. Awards and post race food will be offered at the Porter Way Park pavilion with awards for top overall men and women and age group awards for the triathlon.
