Stansbury Days Triathlon and 5k Run overview
The event includes a sprint triathlon and a separate 5k run, both based in Stansbury Park. Transition is located at Solomon Park on Delgada Lane. The swim takes place in Stansbury Lake and uses a point-to-point course introduced in 2025. Wetsuits are allowed; life jackets, snorkels, paddles, and fins are not permitted. Timing is electronic and a timing chip must be worn on either ankle.
The bike course is a fast out-and-back with long straight sections on Delgada Lane and Village Boulevard before continuing onto the country roads of Erda. The route gains about 60 meters on the way out and descends back into Stansbury Park. The run course loops around Stansbury Lake and is used for both the triathlon run leg and the 5k race. For safety, strollers and dogs are not allowed on the run course. Course arrows will be posted in the days leading up to race day.
Registration options and caps are specified; the triathlon is limited to 125 participants due to transition space. Pricing changes based on registration date, relay and individual sprint entries are offered, and there is no race-day registration. Packet pick-up and race check-in occur the day before and the morning of the event, with timing chips distributed on race morning. Awards are presented at the Porter Way Park pavilion for overall and age group finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
