Staback Park Stand Strong 5K
The Staback Park Stand Strong 5K is an inaugural charity event at Staback Park in Archbald, Pennsylvania. The event includes a 5k run and a 1.5 mile fun walk and takes place at the park entrance, 1 Highland Blvd S, Archbald, PA 18403.
All proceeds will be donated to the legal fund to Stop Archbald Data Centers. Registration fees are listed for each distance and kids 12 and under are free. Packet pick up and day of registration are handled at On the Fringe Studio. Participants who pre-register by September 20 will receive a Staback Park Stand Strong T shirt.
Awards include trophies for the top overall male and female runners and trophies for the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 0 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. Dogs are welcome on leash and participants are asked to bring bags to clean up after them.
This event is rain or shine. All registrations are final and non refundable; if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather registration fees will be considered donations to the charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
