The 20th Annual St. Patrick's 5k Run/Walk is organized by the City of Pharr Parks and Recreation Department. The event takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1000 S. Fir St. in Pharr, Texas. Registration is $5 for all participants. It is a single-distance event covering 5 km.

Event Details

The course is described as a scenic route through the heart of Pharr. Beyond the run/walk, the event features kid-friendly activities and a beer garden for adults after the race. Wearing green attire, costumes, or accessories for the St. Patrick's Day theme is encouraged.

Participants must pick up their race packets in advance. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jose Pepe Salinas Recreation Center located at 1011 W Kelly Ave. There is no packet pick-up on the day of the race. A t-shirt is available with a deadline for guaranteed receipt by February 7, 2026.

Awards

Monetary and trophy awards are presented across various age groups for both male and female participants. The overall male and female winners each receive $300.
