Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon : Rockland Lake State Park
The Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon takes place on October 25, 2026 at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, NY. The event is a USATF certified half marathon held on a paved pathway that circles Rockland Lake. The measured course begins with a 1.3 mile out-and-back section along the south end of the lake, followed by four clockwise laps of approximately 2.96 miles each and finishes near Parking Field 5.
Amenities include bag check, aid stations located every mile, guaranteed race shirts for participants registered by October 11, custom finisher medals for all finishers, and free finisher photos. A post race pancake breakfast is provided. Packet shipping is offered to US addresses for a fee if requested before October 14; packets are mailed on October 16. Packet pickup is available at the race site for those who do not choose shipping.
Timing uses chip technology and results with gun and chip times are posted on the race webpage within 24 hours. Awards are given in men's and women's categories with age group breakdowns and medals for all finishers. Entries cannot be transferred and there is no race day registration. The race is organized by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in cooperation with the New York State Parks System. If the event must be cancelled for reasons beyond organizers control it will convert to a virtual event and race items will be mailed to participants.
