Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon
The Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon takes place on October 25, 2026 at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, New York. The event features a USATF certified paved course that circles Rockland Lake. The measured course begins near Parking Field 5 with a 1.3 mile out-and-back section along the south end of the lake, followed by four clockwise laps of approximately 2.96 miles each, finishing near Parking Field 5. The advertised distance is 13.1 miles.
Amenities include bag check, aid stations located about every mile, custom race shirts, medals for all finishers, and a post race pancake breakfast. Race shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by October 11; remaining shirts are distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. Packet shipping is available for US addresses for a $7.45 fee; shipped packets go out on October 16. Packet pickup is available at the race site the morning of the event.
Entry fees follow tiered pricing: $51.20 through September 28, $59.45 through October 16, and $66.65 through October 24. There is no race day registration and entries are nontransferable. All participants must be at least 16 years old. A minimum average pace of 15 minutes per mile applies. If the in person event is canceled for reasons beyond organizer control, it may be converted to a virtual event with giveaways and finishers medals mailed to participants.
