Event Overview
The Sprout Love - Summer 5K is a student-led event organized by the National Honor Society of Dexter High School. It is the 6th annual edition of this event. The primary aim is to raise funds for the Sprout Love Initiative of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor, with a goal of raising $10,000. All proceeds support families impacted by cancer in the community.
Event Details
The event features a single 5K distance. It is described as a non-chipped fun run/walk, open to running, walking, rolling, or strolling. In addition to the race, there will be outdoor family activities. Over 200 attendees are expected.
The event is free for the public to attend. However, there is a registration fee for the 5K race. Early registration costs $25 and includes race entry, a t-shirt, and a commemorative medal. The registration price increases to $30 starting May 17, 2026. To be guaranteed a t-shirt in the correct size, participants must register by May 3, 2026; shirts will be distributed on event day at check-in.
