Springburst 10K & Kids One-Mile Fun Run
The Springburst event is organized by the Prince George’s Running Club (PGRC) and takes place in Glenn Dale, Maryland. The event window is Saturday April 18 to Sunday April 26, 2026. The in-person race starts at the WB&A Trail at Glenn Dale Splash Park, Glenn Dale, MD 20769.
Events and course
- 10K (6.2 miles), out-and-back on the WB&A Trail
- One-mile kids fun run, free for children 12 and under
- Virtual 10K, participants may complete the distance through April 26, 2026
The WB&A Trail follows the site of the former Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad. The course description notes light rolling hills.
Logistics and awards
There is no pre-race packet pickup; packet pick up occurs on race day. Race premiums include a race T-shirt for 10K registrants who register by March 27, 2026; late registrants are not guaranteed shirt or size. The 10K is part of the Maryland Road Runners Club of America GrandPrix series. Awards will be given to the top three finishers (male and female) and age-group awards will be given across multiple age ranges from under 20 to over 80. Free parking is available at Glenn Dale Splash Park, with a parking attendant on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
