Springburst 10K & Kids One-Mile Fun Run
The Prince George's Running Club presents Springburst, a multi-day event in Glenn Dale, Maryland, held at the WB&A Trail at Glendale Splash Park. The main event is a 10K out-and-back course (6.2 miles) run on the WB&A Trail, which follows the former Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad and features light rolling hills.
The event includes these distances:
- 10K (6.2 miles) out-and-back on the WB&A Trail
- One-mile kids fun run for children 12 and under, free
- Virtual 10K option with completion allowed through April 26, 2026
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 10K and there are age-group awards for both sexes across multiple age categories. Race premiums include a specially designed race T-shirt; 10K registrants who register by March 27, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt and size while supplies last. Free parking is available at Glenn Dale Splash Park, and a parking attendant will be on site to guide participants. The 10K is part of the Maryland Road Runners Club of America GrandPrix race series.
