Event Overview

The Spring Cleaning 5k is a running event in Phoenix, Arizona, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event is held at Arizona Falls, located at 5802 E Indian School Rd. It offers a single distance of 5 kilometers.

Event Details

The course is an out-and-back route on the Arizona Canal. It is a USATF sanctioned event, though it is noted that the course is not USATF certified. Registration is only available online through RunSignUp and closes at 6:30 AM on race day. There are no paper registrations on site.

Participants can collect their race number and shirt on the morning of the event between 6:00 AM and 6:45 AM.

Pricing and Registration

The event has three registration categories with different fees:

Spring Cleaning 5k: $25 for adults.
Young Adult (18-24 years old): $25.
Youth (17 and under): $5 if registered by April 4, 2026; the price increases to $15 after that date.

Arizona Road Racer (ARR) members can register for free if they sign up by April 4, 2026. After that date, member pricing is $25 for adults and young adults, and $15 for youth entries.

Participant Perks and Awards

In line with a "Spring Cleaning" theme, all registered participants receive a shirt from a previous ARR race, subject to availability. Extra shirts may be purchased for $5 each.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group awards are also presented across numerous categories, from 10 and under to 80+ years. These awards consist of a selection of past race medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
