Event Overview
The Spooky Spirits 5K is an annual Halloween-themed running event held in Suwanee, Georgia. The race starts and ends at Suwanee Town Center Park and serves as a qualifying event for the Peachtree Road Race. This timed event is open to competitive runners and recreational participants.
The event offers two primary registration options:
- Spooky Spirits 5K with a 12oz cocktail at the finish line.
- Spooky Spirits 5K with cocktail samples along the route and at the finish.
Course Details and Stations
The course includes five themed spirit stations for participants who choose the sampling ticket. At each station, runners can consume a 3-ounce cocktail sample. All participants aged 21 and older receive a 12-ounce cocktail after crossing the finish line. In the event of inclement weather, the organizers may adjust the race route.
Results and Recognition
Costumes are encouraged, and prizes are awarded in three categories: best female costume, best male costume, and best group costume. Every participant receives a race shirt, a medal, and a souvenir glass. Vendor and sponsor booths are located at the finish area for runners to visit after their race.
Requirements and Logistics
All participants must be at least 21 years old to participate in cocktail sampling and are required to present a valid ID at check-in to receive a required wristband. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at Big Peach in Suwanee Town Center or on the morning of the event at Suwanee Town Center Park.
