ASCO Spartacus Dash
The ASCO Spartacus Dash is an annual obstacle course race organized by ASCO Equipment and held at Liberty Park in Belton, TX. The course follows Nolan Creek and has been run since 2012.
The course is approximately 3 miles long and includes more than 20 obstacles placed along and near Nolan Creek. The event lists a wide range of features and obstacle types, including dirt hills, a cargo net wall, a rope swing over Nolan Creek, a mud pit crawl, a zip line, a tire field, a slippery tarp slide, an ice bath, tunnels, a slip n slide, a hog pen feature, and a cliff hanger. The event presents activities for a broad age range, with participants noted from ages 5 to 105.
This edition lists the Gary Sinise Foundation as the charity partner; the foundation’s stated mission is to serve the nation by honoring defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need through programs that entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
