Sparkassen Metropolmarathon

The Sparkassen Metropolmarathon is a major running event held in the Metropolregion Nürnberg, featuring a weekend of activities across two cities, Fürth and Nürnberg. With five different competitions, including distances of 10 km, 21.1 km, and 42.2 km, the event attracts around 9,000 participants and is supported by 600 volunteers. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and well-organized routes, the marathon has become one of the most popular sporting events in the region since its inception in 2007.
