Sparkassen-Festungslauf Königstein

The Sparkassen Fortress Run Königstein is an annual running competition organized by the District Sports Association Sächsische Schweiz – Osterzgebirge e. V. in cooperation with various partners.

The run takes participants on and through the historic Königstein Fortress, one of the most significant mountain fortresses in Europe. There are various course lengths, including 8.8 km, 7.1 km, and 1.3 km, suitable for both runners and walkers. The competition offers challenging, hilly course profiles and includes several age categories.
