Space City 10 Miler and 5k
Space City 10 Miler and 5k takes place Sunday, October 11, 2026 in Houston at the University of Houston – Clear Lake Campus, 635 Bayou Road West, Houston TX 77058. The event is part of the HARRA Fall Series and offers individual and two-person relay entries.
The 10 Miler is a certified, one-loop course through the Clear Lake area with the start and finish at the UH Clear Lake campus. A 5k is also offered as a separate event. Relays may be registered together or separately; the first registrant for a relay pays the full relay fee.
A bare-bones registration option is available that removes the event shirt and medal for a discount: $15 off the 10 Miler and relay entries, and $10 off the 5k. Typical entry price ranges are:
- 10 Miler : $50 to $75 depending on registration period
- 2 Person Relay (10 Miler) : $80 to $105 depending on registration period
- 5k : $30 to $55 depending on registration period
The 10 Miler awards overall cash prizes and bonuses, lists current course records, and gives age-group awards for both the 10 Miler and 5k. Finishers receive medals and all entrants receive a long-sleeve shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled at local running stores on the Friday and Saturday before the race, with race-morning packet pickup available as well. Course and event maps are provided by the organizer.
