South Woodham Runners 10k : 17 May 2026
The event is a 10k road race on 17 May 2026. The course follows an extended parkrun route through countryside and farmland in southern Essex and runs along the River Crouch. The route includes a few short level changes and varied surfaces. A water station is accessible from two points on the course. The event holds Race Licence No 29855 and is under the governance of England Athletics. Total places are limited to 400. Competitors must be at least 16 years old on the day. Medals and prizes are issued on the day, and trophies are awarded to the first three men and first three women.
Entry, facilities and rules
Entries are accepted only from registered EntryCentral users. Standard entry fees are £19 for England Athletics affiliated runners and £21 for unaffiliated runners. An early-bird discount of £2 applies to entries made before 1 November 2025. EntryCentral charges the organiser an additional 4% administration fee. Refunds are not provided unless the organisers cancel the event. Transfers between entrants are possible via the EntryCentral account system.
Parking is provided in the overflow carpark at Marsh Farm; parking at the wateredge car park is not permitted. Race numbers are available for collection on the day. The event offers a bag drop and multiple toilet facilities. Headphones are prohibited except for hearing aids; running with buggies or dogs is not allowed.
