Solstice Saunter 2026
Solstice Saunter is a 5 miles trail run held on the longest day, 21 June 2026, at Bolton Abbey Estate near Skipton. The event is organised as a fundraising event for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
The course is multi terrain and hilly, consisting of a single lap. It is not suitable for wheelchairs. Every participant is chip timed and participants who choose the applicable entry receive a bespoke Solstice Saunter medal.
Facilities at the event include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race headquarters is in a field across the river from the Cavendish Pavilions. Parking is included in the event price and entrants receive a free car parking pass.
Entry is available as an in person event within the Bolton Abbey Estate or as a virtual entry. Prices shown in the event information include event fees and admin: in person adult with medal £26.00, under 18 with medal £18.00, virtual entry with medal posted £26.00.
