Solstice Saunter 2027
The Solstice Saunter is a 5 mile trail run on the Bolton Abbey Estate, near Skipton, held on Monday 21 June 2027 to raise funds for Sue Ryder. The course is multi terrain and hilly, run as a single lap, and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Every participant is chip timed.
Entries include a bespoke Solstice Saunter medal for those who select the applicable ticket. A virtual entry option is available in which participants run a 5 mile route of their own choice on the same day; virtual entrants are sent their medal in advance. The event operates without single use plastic bottles with support from the headline sponsor.
Race facilities listed for the Bolton Abbey event include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race headquarters are on a field across the river from the Cavendish Pavilions. Parking is included in the event price and registered Bolton Abbey participants are sent a car parking pass; those participants may arrive any time after 2pm on the day of the event.
Entry is limited to 1000 places; entry on the day is not available. Published entry fees are: adult with medal £27.00, under 18 with medal £19.00, virtual entry with medal posted £27.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
