Event

Solstice at the Lakes 2026 is a timed trail running event at Leybourne Lakes Country Park in Kent on Saturday 20 June to Sunday 21 June 2026. The event is organised by Embrace Ultra. Entry fees in the listed offers range from £42 to £300, and £2 from every entry goes to a chosen charity. The minimum age to enter is 20 years on race day.

Format, course and facilities

  • 24-hour (solo, pair relay, team relay)

The course is a fully marked 2.5 km loop around Leybourne Lakes Country Park. The surface is a mix of maintained trail, gravel and tarmac and is described as flat. The race village provides a central hub with food and drink, toilets, changing areas, rest zones, and seating for support crews. Official race timing and live lap updates are provided and a medical team is on site. Runners who complete at least one lap receive a medal; podium awards are given for top finishers in solo and team categories. Paid car parking is available at the park and spectators are welcome. Event rules note no external assistance on the course, crewing only at designated areas, no pacing, a cupless policy, and a headtorch requirement for overnight participants.
