About the race
The event takes place on Sunday 8 August 2027 in Malvern Park, Solihull. It includes a Half Marathon, a 5K and a Junior Race, each held on fully road closed routes that are waymarked and marshalled.

The Half Marathon follows an undulating road course through Solihull town centre and continues out to the villages of Knowle, Barston and Eastcote. Course surface is road with an overall elevation change listed at 192 m for the Half Marathon, 56 m for the 5K and 15 m for the Junior Race. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals guide runners around the course.
The event village is located in Malvern Park and offers food and drink options, portable toilets and a baggage marquee. Race day services listed with entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results with national ranking, post race goodies and a bag drop. Water is provided at approximately 3, 6.5 and 10 miles on the half marathon course; the 5K does not pass a water station. Minimum ages are 17 for the Half Marathon, 11 for the 5K and under 11 for Juniors. Accessible participation options note welcome for buggy runners and wheelchair athletes.
