Solihull Half Marathon, 5k & Junior Race : 9 August 2026
This event takes place in Solihull with the course starting and finishing in Malvern Park, in Solihull town centre. The programme comprises a half marathon, a 5k and a junior race held on closed roads and tarmac paths, with kilometre markers and marshals positioned along the route.
Course details describe an undulating half marathon route that leaves Malvern Park via Widney Manor Road, passes through Knowle town centre and includes a countryside section through Barston and Eastcote with the steeper inclines and declines of the course. All races use road terrain; elevation figures provided by the organiser note the half marathon has 192 m of elevation, the 5k 56 m and the junior race 15 m.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies. The half marathon has a three hour cut off time because of road closure restrictions. The event village offers food and drink options and partner giveaways at the finish. An event t-shirt is available at a discounted rate when purchased as part of the entry, supplied in partnership with RT Kit.
