Solihull Half Marathon and 5k take place in Solihull town centre on Sunday 9 August 2026, supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice. The event uses closed roads with an undulating half marathon route, a 5k and a new kids race.

Solihull Half Marathon & 5k

The event takes place on Sunday 9 August 2026 in Solihull town centre and supports Acorns Children’s Hospice. It is organised by RunThrough Events and features an event village and start area that are accessible by public transport.

The half marathon is an undulating route run on closed roads and tarmac paths. The course starts by following New Road into Malvern Park, leaves the park via Widney Manor Road to reach Knowle town centre, and then passes through countryside around Barston and Eastcote where the steeper inclines and declines occur. The route returns to Knowle before following Widney Manor Road and Malvern Park back to Solihull town centre.

The 5k follows the start and finish sections through Malvern Park and along Widney Manor Road, turning earlier than the half marathon and using the same finish line. A kids race is included in the event programme for 2026.
