SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch : Lebec, CA
SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch is a multi-distance trail running event held entirely on private Tejon Ranch land near Lebec, California. Courses run on fire roads through canyons, creeks, oak-filled canyons, rolling sagebrush plains and foothills around Castac Lake, with views to the Tehachapi range and distant high desert.
Distances offered:
- 100k Ultra Trail : 61.6 miles, 12,002 feet elevation gain.
- 50k Ultra Trail : 32.3 miles, 5,651 feet elevation gain.
- 25k Trail : 15.86 miles, 2,858 feet gain.
- 11k Trail : 6.96 miles, 944 feet gain.
The 50k and 100k routes include a sustained climb on the Grapevine switchbacks, with a notable ascent over several miles. The 100k reaches roughly 6,150 feet elevation. Aid stations are placed along each course with some locations offering drop bag access and crew or spectator parking.
Event services include fully marked daytime and night course markings, chip timing, live tracking and same-day results, staffed aid stations, professional medical support at aid stations, camping for tents and RVs, hotel room blocks, finish line food and a beer garden for 21 and older, and free race photography. Awards and finisher items are provided for each distance, and prizes include comp entries and monetary purses for select overall winners.
