SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch - February 27, 2027
SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch is a multi-distance trail running event in Lebec, California, organized by SoCalTrail and held on Tejon Ranch private land. The courses run entirely on fire roads and traverse canyons, creeks, mountains and rolling sagebrush plains around Castac Lake and the Tehachapi range. Overnight camping and nearby hotel rooms are available, and a finish line festival offers hot meals and a beer garden for participants aged 21 and over.
The event includes the following distances:
- 100k Ultratrail, 61.6 miles, 12,002' vertical gain
- 50k Ultratrail, 32.3 miles, 5,651' vertical gain
- 25k Trail, 15.86 miles, 2,858' gain
- 11k Trail, 6.96 miles, 944' gain
The 100k route reaches approximately 6,150 feet in elevation and both ultra distances include a sustained climb of about 3,200 feet over 4.8 miles on the Grapevine switchbacks. Aid stations are provided throughout the courses with stocked supplies and medical support. The event offers chip timing, course marking for daytime and night running, live GPS tracking, event apparel and purchased extras such as pacer and shuttle passes. Finishers receive distance-specific awards, and top finishers earn compensatory entries and prize purse opportunities.
Entries are non-refundable but transferable before February 22, 2027; partial event credits apply for cancellations within specified time windows.
