Soaring Eagle Trail Run
Soaring Eagle Trail Run takes place at Soaring Eagle Regional Park in Sammamish, Washington, using the park's Pipeline Trail and the smaller winding trails that branch from it. The event is organized by Evergreen Trail Runs and is located at 26015 E Main Dr, Sammamish, WA.
Distances offered include:
- 5K : abbreviated version of the 10K loop
- 10K : single loop on well-graded, rooty trails
- Half Marathon : two laps of the 10K course
- Kids Race : about 0.5 miles on flat singletrack and doubletrack
All distances begin on the Pipeline Trail; around 0.74 miles the 5K and 10K routes diverge. The 10K loop and the half marathon run through mostly flat, well-graded forest tread with notable roots, rocks, and occasional puddles. Elevation gain is listed as 200 feet for the 5K, 700 feet for the 10K, and 1400 feet for the half marathon.
Aid stations are placed on course and provide Tailwind electrolyte drinks, fresh fruit, treats, gels, and gummies.
