The Soaring Eagle Trail Run takes place at Soaring Eagle Regional Park in Sammamish, Washington. The event is part of the Evergreen Trail Runs series. The park features an intricate network of trails, including the well-maintained Pipeline Trail, through lush forests.
Course Details
The event features several race distances: a Half Marathon, a 10K, a 5K, a Kids Race, a 10K Brunch Run, and a 5K Brunch Run. There are two main course loops. The 5K race uses an abbreviated version of the 10K loop. The Half Marathon consists of two laps of the 10K loop. All races begin on the Pipeline Trail. The 10K and 5K courses diverge at approximately 0.74 miles. The 10K loop winds through the forest on mostly flat, well-graded trails with roots and rocks. The course is described as having minimal elevation gain.
Logistics and Policies
The event organizer is Evergreen Trail Runs, which is a sister brand to Orca Running. According to their policy, race entries are non-refundable. Registered participants who cannot attend have options to defer to the following year's event, transfer their entry to another runner, or switch to a different Evergreen Trail Runs event, with applicable fees.
