Smile Like Jack 5k/10k/Fun Run
The Smile Like Jack event is an annual memorial run and walk held at the Knox Trail Inn in East Otis, Massachusetts. The event supports a memorial fund created to honor a local community member by assisting individuals pursuing careers in the trades and outdoor lifestyles. The gathering takes place rain or shine and features a variety of festivities, including food, music, and raffles.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 10k chip-timed competitive race
- 5k chip-timed competitive race
- Family Fun Run/Walk (not timed)
The competitive 5k and 10k races are officially timed using chips. For those preferring a non-competitive pace, the Family Fun Run/Walk provides an alternative. Registrations completed before June 1st include an event T-shirt.
Check-in services are available on the day of the event. Additionally, an early check-in for bib collection is hosted at the Knox Trail Inn on the preceding Friday evening. The venue serves as the central hub for the race start, refreshments, and the post-race atmosphere, which includes beverages for participants aged 21 and over.
