Skyfire Race Series
The Skyfire Race Series is a four-race mountain trail series held at Solitude Mountain Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Brighton, UT. The series runs from August 15 through October 3, 2026. Each event increases in elevation and overall challenge, and after each race participants are offered breakfast treats, stretching or massage services, and a raffle.
Each race is listed with specific vertical gain, start and maximum elevations, and entry cost. Race One on August 15, 2026 has 900 ft vertical gain, starting elevation 8,055 ft and max elevation 8,745 ft; cost $35. Race Two on August 29, 2026 has 1,145 ft vertical gain, start elevation 8,055 ft and max elevation 8,911 ft; cost $45. Race Three on September 19, 2026 has 1,585 ft vertical gain, start elevation 8,055 ft and max elevation 9,785 ft; cost $60. Race Four on October 3, 2026 has 1,989 ft vertical gain, start elevation 8,055 ft and max elevation 10,035 ft; cost $60.
