Event Overview
The Grimes Real Estate Skerries 10K is an annual road race organized by Skerries AC. The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, 2026. The main 10 km race is open to participants aged 16 and over. There is also an 1 mile race and a series of juvenile races over various shorter distances.
Race Details
The event hub is Skerries Educate Together. The course is described as one of the most scenic 10 km routes. Race numbers must be collected in advance; there is no entry available on race day. Collection times are at Eurospar in Skerries on the Friday and Saturday before the event, and on the Sunday morning. Medals and t-shirts are optional extras available for purchase.
Juvenile Races
A full schedule of juvenile races is offered. Distances range from 300m for the youngest age group to 1 mile for older youths. Age categories are based on Athletics Ireland rules, calculated as of December 31st in the year of competition. Specific birth years are listed for each category.
Other Information
The event has an approved Athletics Ireland permit. A portion of the event supports Skerries Youth Support Services (SYSS) to raise awareness for their work.
