Skelly's Donut Dash

Skelly's Donut Dash is a run and walk event held on August 1, 2026 at 2713 South Hayner Road, Janesville, WI. The event is presented in partnership with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin for the second consecutive year.

Distances offered:

• 5K
• 1 mile

The 5K route passes through a six acre sunflower field, on nearby roads, and around strawberry beds. The 1 mile route circles the fields and goes through the first two loops of the sunflower field. The sunflower field contains over 30 varieties of sunflowers. Participants may bring dogs.

All race participants receive a bib with time tracking provided by Velocity Multi-Sport & Cycling, admission to the sunflower field, and an apple cider donut at the finish line. Skelly's will donate a portion of each ticket to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin and will also donate $1 for each extra field admission sold that day. Visitors who do not race may visit the sunflower field; proceeds from field admissions that day will support the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
