The Bitburger 0,0% Silvesterlauf in Trier is scheduled for 31 December 2026 on the Hauptmarkt in the city center. The event is organised by Silvesterlauf Trier e.V. and uses a traditional 1‑kilometre loop through the Trier old town that passes several historic buildings. The event programme in 2026 includes races for young athletes and multiple mass races for adults.
Distances on the programme include: - 0.6 km for Bambini (birth years 2020 and younger) - 1 km for primary school runs (2015–2019) - 2 km for teen runs (2010–2013) - 5 km for elite women and several Volksläufe for juniors and adults Registration is handled online via the Cologne Timing portal; the entry deadline is 23 December 2026 and payments are processed by SEPA direct debit. Entry fees listed are 20 € for women and men, 12 € for youth (12–19 years), and 6 € for children (up to 11 years, includes Silvesterlauf buffet).
