Sikhs In The City Summer Samosa Ultra 2026
Sikhs In The City presents a multi-distance, timed road event held in Woodford Green, with the Start/Finish next to the car park of Teresa Gavin House, Southend Road, IG8 8FA. The course is undulating, wheelchair friendly, and mostly on good tarmac. The route is certified for distance and the event is chip timed, with lap times visible during the event.
Distances and race format include:
- 22 km distance, chip timed
- Marathon distance, chip timed
- Ultra distance, chip timed
- 10 km distance, chip timed
- Team Relay Ultra for teams of up to five runners
Medals and ranking are based on laps of a certified 2.014 km circuit: 11 laps award a 22 km medal, 21 laps a Marathon medal, and at least 25 laps an Ultra medal. Team Relay medals require 25 laps in total with only one active runner at a time. Age limits apply: 18 years for 22 km and longer races; 11 years if accompanied for the 10 km.
Entry information: entries are limited (280 places for longer races, 95 for the 10 km, team entries limited to the first 20 teams), entries close 21 June 2026, and there are no refunds. Amenities at Start/Finish include bag drop, toilets, a feeding station with drinks and snacks, a separate table for personal drinks, paramedic cover, marshals, and event insurance.
