Shorwell 10K 2026
Shorwell 10K takes place on 13 June 2026 on a scenic 10 km route through the countryside between Shorwell and Brighstone. A route map is available and the course includes open-country sections; there are two water stations enroute at approximately 4 km and 7 km and an additional station at the finish. Runners are advised to carry their own bottles between stations if conditions are hot.
Race headquarters, start, and finish are at Wolverton Manor, Shorwell Isle of Wight PO30 3JS. Facilities at Race HQ include registration, number collection, bag drop, refreshments, and entry into the summer fair after the race. Car parking is available at the event and merchandise includes fitted T shirts for men and ladies.
Safety rules note that in-ear or over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone conduction headphones are allowed in line with England Athletics guidance. Running with dogs is not permitted.
Prizes include cash awards for first male and first female overall, placings for second and third male and female, awards for winners of veteran categories, team prizes, and medals for all finishers. Male veteran categories listed are V40, V50, V60 and V70. Female veteran categories listed are V35, V45, V55 and V65.
Entry opens 06-Feb-2026 and closes 30-May-2026 with a standard entry fee of £20. On the day entries are accepted for £22 payable by cash or bank transfer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
