Shorwell 10k 2026
The Shorwell 10k is a scenic road race that follows the countryside between Shorwell and Brighstone on the Isle of Wight. The course includes two water stations en route at about 4 km and 7 km, plus water at the finish; runners may carry bottles if conditions are warm. A map of the route is available from the organiser.
Race HQ is at Wolverton Manor, Shorwell PO30 3JS. Facilities at the HQ include registration, number collection, bag drop, refreshments and other event facilities, and access to the summer fair afterwards. Car parking is available at the event.
Safety rules state that in-ear or over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone-conducting headphones are allowed. Running with dogs is not permitted.
Prizes include cash awards for first male and first female overall, and prizes for second and third male and female. There are prizes for winners of the veteran categories and for male and female teams. Male veteran categories are V40, V50, V60 and V70. Female veteran categories are V35, V45, V55 and V65. All finishers will receive a medal.
Entry information notes a pre-entry fee of £20 between 06-Feb-2026 and 08-Jun-2026. On-the-day entries may be accepted at £22, cash or bank transfer only, and may be limited depending on pre-entry numbers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
