Shopiere Days Race
The Shopiere Days Race is an annual running and walking event held in Beloit, Wisconsin. Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 10k Run
- 5k Walk/Run
The courses for both events begin at the intersection of S County Road J and E Creek Road, located near the Town of Turtle Fire Department. The routes conclude at Sweet-Allyn Park. Registered participants receive an event t-shirt and a participation medal, though these are guaranteed only for those who complete their registration by June 1st. Packet pickup is organized on the morning of the event prior to the start of the races.
Following the conclusion of the runs, an awards ceremony is held at Sweet-Allyn Park. The venue also hosts various post-race festivities, including live music, a tractor and car show, a vendor market, and a carnival. These activities provide a broad range of entertainment options for participants and spectators within the park setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
