Shenandoah River Adventure Race
Set along the Shenandoah River at Shenandoah River State Park in Bentonville, Virginia, the Shenandoah River Adventure Race offers 6- and 12-hour formats for solo and teams of 2–4. Racers paddle the Shenandoah, ride IMBA single-track, and trek across varied terrain with optional bushwhack segments. The 12-hour course provides multiple route options with pre-plotted maps and emphasizes strategy over distance, avoiding hike-a-bike and rock gardens.
The event showcases scenic mountain views with lodging options at Shenandoah River State Park and Low Water Bridge Campground. It’s produced by Rev3 Endurance and is among the region’s most challenging races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
