About the race
The Shelley Loop Run is a community running event organised by the West Australian Marathon Club at Shelley Foreshore, Riverton on 18 July 2027. The event offers two course options and uses professional timing.
Participants can choose from:
- 10 km route around the Shelley foreshore area
- 3 km fun run or walk suitable for families
WAMC members enter free and members are required to wear their club cloth bib and timing chip. Non-members pay an entry fee and are issued a bib number prior to the event; day-of registrations are available if the event is not sold out. A late registration penalty applies from the Saturday before the event for non-members.
Event facilities and operations noted by the organiser include a race briefing before the run, a course map provided by the club, and prize presentations after the races. The City of Canning supports the event and the organisation highlights the scenic foreshore setting as the location for the run.
