Sharjah Summer Run
Sharjah Summer Run is organized by Endurance Sports in collaboration with the Sharjah Sports Council and University City of Sharjah. The event takes place on fully closed, traffic-free roads inside University City, with a route that passes notable landmarks such as the American University of Sharjah, the House of Wisdom, and the Sharjah Research, Technology & Innovation Park.
The event offers multiple race distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2.5 km
- 1 km for kids
The race is open to all ages and a wide range of age categories are listed for each distance. Race services include automated timing, electronic certificates, finisher and finalists medals, trophies, and photo service or downloads. There are four support stations along the course, medical coverage with registered nursing or emergency medical services, and on-site facilities such as toilets, changing rooms, and showers. Race pack collection is handled on race day at the event venue; participants are asked to bring confirmation or valid ID for bib collection.
Registration details note fees inclusive of VAT with an additional service fee and refund rules that include a 10% administration fee for certain changes.
