Shamrock Shuffle - Hayward, WI
The Shamrock Shuffle is an annual community running event in downtown Hayward, Wisconsin, held at The Lot (10597 Kansas Ave) on March 21, 2026. The event is produced by the Downtown Hayward Business Improvement District and presented by The Lumber Exchange. Proceeds benefit CAMBA Kids and the Downtown Hayward BID.
The event includes multiple distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1k Grasshopper kids' run
- 5K Youth (ages 17 and under)
Pre-registered participants may pick up race packets and t-shirts at Riverbrook Bike & Ski on Main Street the day before the race. Race packet pick up and race day registration are available at The Lot on race day.
Awards and activities include Hayward Chamber Bucks for the top three male and female finishers, Big Shamrock Cookie Awards, costume prizes for people and pets provided by local merchants, and a Lucky Charms eating contest with a prize for the winner. The Lot site will offer festivities, snacks, and drinks for purchase. All participants receive complimentary bananas, cookies, and water. Pets are allowed if kept on a leash.
