Shake Your Tail Feather 5K : Edinburg
The 2nd Annual Shake Your Tail Feather 5K takes place on November 14, 2026 at Vanguard Academy Beethoven Elementary Pavilion in Edinburg, Texas. The event is held at 2215 S Veterans Blvd.
Race services include chip timing with live results, premium event shirts and bibs, and vendor presence on site. The deadline to request a race shirt is November 1; shirts are not available after that date. A packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, November 12 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Central Administration Building, 2510 S Veterans Blvd. There is no packet pickup on race day.
Registration opens October 23, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30.00.
Awards include finisher and event medals for the 5K, overall top male and female awards, and age-group awards in these categories: 13 & Under, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+. An arrival window is indicated for parking, stretching, and warm-up.
